Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SoberDad Coaching LLC ("Stay Dry," "we") collects, uses, and shares consumer health data through the Stay Dry app and staydry.app, and the rights you have over that data, including rights under the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada Revised Statutes chapter 603A.

Categories of consumer health data we collect, and why

• Substance use and recovery information you provide: what you are working to quit (for example alcohol or drugs), your sobriety start date, daily check-ins and streaks, cravings or challenges you select, journal entries, and messages you send to the AI coach, along with short AI-generated summaries of those conversations.
• Related wellness information: program progress, panic and calming tool usage, spending estimates you enter for savings tracking, and limited first-party feature events such as starting or completing a check-in (without the check-in answers).
• Public website activity: visiting a Stay Dry marketing page may itself suggest an interest in sobriety, even before you create an account.

We collect in-app recovery data to provide the features you ask for, such as counting your sober days, awarding milestones, personalizing your plan and coach, showing your savings, and surfacing crisis resources when crisis language is detected. Limited feature events help us secure, debug, and improve the service. Public marketing-page measurement helps us understand advertising and signups where those tools are enabled. We ask for your consent to process the health-related information you provide at signup.

Sources of consumer health data

• Directly from you, in the app and on staydry.app.
• Generated in the app from your activity (for example streaks, milestone progress, and limited feature events).
• Visits to our public marketing pages, before you enter the signed-in app.

We do not collect consumer health data from third parties, data brokers, or advertising platforms.

Categories of consumer health data we share, and with whom

Our app uses service providers to run the features you request. We limit what each receives:

• Cloud database, authentication, and hosting providers (Supabase on AWS; Vercel), which store and transmit the categories above.
• Our AI provider (Anthropic), which processes coach messages and limited context to generate coach replies and is not permitted to train models on them.
• Apple, Google Play, Stripe, and RevenueCat receive account and subscription information needed for purchases and access. Superwall receives an account identifier and paywall/subscription status. They do not receive your sobriety date, journal, check-in answers, or coach messages from the app.

We do not sell the recovery information you enter in the app or send your recovery answers, journals, or coach messages to advertising platforms. No ad pixel runs inside the signed-in app. Public marketing pages may use TikTok, Meta, and Whop pixels for page and conversion measurement, and PostHog for masked, anonymous navigation analytics, where these tools are enabled. A page visit or signup event can itself suggest an interest in sobriety even without recovery answers. The general Privacy Policy explains the information these providers receive and your opt-out choices. We may also disclose information if law requires it or to prevent an imminent threat to life or safety.

Your rights

• Access: ask for a copy of your consumer health data, including a list of the third parties and affiliates (if any) it was shared with.
• Withdraw consent: stop our collection or use of your consumer health data.
• Delete: have your consumer health data deleted, including from backups on their normal cycle and from our processors.

To exercise any right, email support@staydry.appfrom your account email with the subject "Health Data Request." You can also delete data directly in the app (journals, coach conversations, or your whole account). We verify requests using your account email and respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days). We will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Appeals: if we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line; we will respond within 45 days. Washington residents may also contact the Washington Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint if an appeal is denied.
